ACTION Elbow:
- Extension

Shoulder:

- Extension (Long head)
- Adduction (Long head)
Origin Long head:
- Infraglenoid tubercle of scapula
- Inferior part of glenoid labrum

Lateral head:

- Posterior shaft of humerus lateral to the spiral groove

Medial head:

- Posterior shaft of humerus medial to the spiral groove
Insertion Olecranon process of ulna

Posterior capsule of elbow joint

Innervation Radial nerve
Nerve Root C6–C8
Artery Deep brachial artery, posterior circumflex humeral artery (long head only)
